Winter Kiss

*Please Read this before you read my one shot. thank you! (: *

 HI guys! its been awhile since i last posted here. for the past few months, i seem to lose my interest on writing one shots so i stopped but now i'm trying to bring back that " interest " that seem to be under the pile of stress in my mind. i got bored today so i decided to make a new one shot. i think i owe this to you guys (or not) . anyways, enough of this thing. enjoy reading! (sorry if it's crappy! i'm kinda in a rush while making this. sorry again!) xxx.

i looked up in the sky. white fluffy things are falling, the first snow of the season. i ran inside the house and went to the bedroom that i share with him. after taking the jackets out of the closet i slowly shaked his shoulders to wake him up. it seems like he was deep asleep. i shaked his shoulders again and nothing happened. then suddenly a sweet idea came up to my mind. i pressed my lips against his. it was one of those lazy kisses i give him whenever i wake him up.

" babe, wake up " i said and slowly, he was opening his cute brown eyes. those eyes that makes my knees go weak.

" hi baby. " he said and sat up straight before giving me a hug.

" let's go outside, babe " i said while standing up, pulling him off the comfy bed he'd been in for nearly 3 hours.

" wh... why? " he whined as if he's only an 8-year-old child. i can't help not to smile upon seeing him being like this.

" just come with me, please! " i said giving him those puppy eyes that i know he couldn't resist. he held my chin and gave me a soft kiss before answering.

" fine. " he smiled and finally got up.

we wore the most comfortable and warmest jackets we had before running outside. after that, i pulled him outside.

" what are we going to do here? " he asked me, giving this irritated/annoyed look of his.

" well, i.. i want our first winter season together to be special.. i-- " i was cutted off when his warm lips met mine. that's when i realized that our first winter kiss just happened.

" oh so you want to have our first winter kiss here outside. it that what you mean? " he said and chuckled a little. i can't help not to blush.

" y- you're the one who's supposed to invite me here outside. i was nice enough so i'm the first one who brought you here " i said and tried being defensive that i know will not work on james.

" wasn't i the first one who did the first move and kissed you? so in all, i did the first move and you didn't " he replied and held me by the waist.

" whatever.. " i said and literally hid my face with my mittens.

" devon, you're so cute. it's one of the million reasons why i love you " he said.

" don't be too cheesy and i love you too " i replied before he pulled me into a tight hug.

ASAP POP Awards Viewers Choice 2011

pabalik balik na ako ng lakad dito sa hallway sa labas ng ASAP studio. nakakatense kaya! katatapos pa lang nang opening number pero kinakabahan na ako kaagad. ASAP POP Awards Viewers Choice 2011 ngayon. ang tagal ko nang hinhintay 'to pero ngayon parang gusto kong ipagba bukas na lang. ilang araw din akong di nakatulog kakaisip sa awards na 'to eh. ganito ba talaga ang feeling ng nominated ka sa isang award? tawagin nyo na akong OA, pero ganun talaga na fe feel ko ngayon. ayun lang nasa isip ko habang naglalakad ako pabalik balik.... di ko tuloy napansin na may tao palang dadaan sa harapan ko.

" hey, devon are you okay? " tanong nya sa akin. sinamaan ko sya ng tingin. alam naman nya na kapag ganito ako syempre di ako okay!

" di ba halata? " pagtataray ko sa kanya. ngumiti lang naman sya sa akin at hinawakan ang braso ko para tumigil ako sa paglakad.

" don't be pilosopo. " ngiti nyang sabi.

" can you sit? i've been looking at you for the past 5 minutes and you're making me dizzy... really! "

napakunot ako ng noo. so kanina pa pala ako pinagmamasdan ng lokong 'to. umupo ako kaagad sa bench na di kalayuan at sinundan nya ako... umupo sya sa tabihan ko.

" are you nervous? " tanong ulit ni james sa akin. tumingin ako sa kanya at tumango. nagulat ako ng hinawakan nya ang kamay ko.

" anong ginagawa mo?! " gulat kong tanong sa kanya. lalo nyang diniinan ang paghawak sa kamay ko.

" well, that's the only way i know to make you less nervous. " sambit ni james at ngumiti.. nginitian ko din sya.

" don't be nervous! there's nothing to be scared about. "

" eh.. paano kung talo tayo dun sa award kung saan tayo nominated? "

" that's okay. there's always next time. " sagot nya na parang wala syang pakialam. tumingin lang ako sa kanya tapos nung tumingin sya sa akin, lumingon ako sa ibang direksyon.

dalawang oras na kaming nasa labas ng studio ni james. wala naman kaming gagawin sa loob eh kaya dito muna kami tatambay. kanina pa din kami nag ku kwentuhan. si james hindi nauubusan ng kwento tungkol sa australia vacation nya. nakakatuwa naman syang mag kwento feel na feel mo talaga na na enjoy nya ang bakasyon nya.

" james and devon pumasok na kayo sa loob " sabi ng isang staff. naputol ang pagtatawanan namin at agad tumayo at lumakad papasok.

" i aanounce na daw kung sino ang tween popsies this year. " sambit ni daniel na kasama ni kathryn. di ko namalayan na katabi lang pala namin 'tong dalawang 'to.

lalo akong kinabahan... kathniel. mas madami ang fans ng mga 'to kaysa sa amin... siguro sila ang mananalo.

" and the Tween Popsies this year is.... " bitin na sabi ni enchong.

" congratulations! " sambit ni kathryn sa amin ni james.

ang weird ni daniel at kathryn ah. anong meron? bago pa ako makapag tanong sa kanila ay narinig ko ang sinabi ni enchong...

" Jaevon! " sigaw ni enchong.

agad kaming pinapunta sa stage. hinawakan ni james and kamay ko haabng inaalalayan na makapunta sa stage. puro tili ang naririnig ko sa audience.. alam ko sa gems galing lahat ng tili na yun. nung nasa harapan na kami ng mic.. bumulong sa akin si james. ako daw muna ang unang magsalita. shet, wala akong na practice na speech para dito! well goodluck na lang sa akin. lumunok ako ng isa at nagsalita sa harap ng mic.

" oh my gosh. ummm... unexpected po talaga 'to! salamat sa lahat ng bumoto through text at online! especially sa gems! maraming salamat! para sa inyo talaga 'tong award na 'to "sambit ko at tumabi ng konti para si ajmes naman ang makapagsalita.

" awesome, this is 2 times in a row now! just like what devon said thanks to the gems that made this happen! it is indeed unexpected. i mean, kathniel, samleen ang juliego are like the brightest loveteams and really popular. uhh.... well, thank you again! we love you! " ngiting sabi ni james at kumaway sa mga gems na nasa studio. bago kami bumabas ng stage may pahabol pang ginawa si james....... hinalikan nya ako sa pisngi na ikinatili ng mga audience pati na din ang mga artista na nasa tabi lang ng stage. nag blush ako sa ginawa nya pero di ko pinakita.

ng makapunta kami sa backstage ay agad nya akong inakbayan.

" you wanna celebrate? " ngiting tanong ni mokong at kumindat pa!

" sige na nga. mapilit ka eh! " sagot ko naman at lumabas na ulit ng studio.

The Promise

" Jaime, i want to end our relationship. i know that you're already tired of it... im letting you go. i thikn it's unfair that you're with me. it's like you're living in the darkness too. in fact, my love for you is already gone. i realizd that we're not even meant for each other. there's better girls out there that you can love.. and there's better man out there that i can love. " Dev seriously said.

" i don't believe you! my gosh, Dev! for 4 years that we're together i didn't feel like i'm living in the darkness! you know you're my life.. i can't even live a day without seeing you! please don't break up with me " Jaime said not minding the tears that we're freely flowing on his cheeks.

" just let me go... please " she said while trying to control her tears.

" i won't let you go. " he said and held her hands but she immediately took her hands away. she took the cane that was beside her and started to walk. she didn't saw that she was about to hit the wall. why? because she's blind.

" dev, watch out! " jaime shouted and ran towards her. she just sat there like nothing happened.. she just felt that somebody was helping her to get up.

" let me go! i can do it on my own! " she said in full of anger. she wants to push him away but she's too weak.. and that's when she started to cry.

" damn it! if that accident didn't happen, i'm still able to see right now! i hate this! " she said while crying. jaime can't help himself not to hug her. he knows that for the past 2 years that she's blind, it's really hard for her to adjust. that's why he's here to help her.

" you'll be able to see soon, my princess. i promise you that " he whispered to her ear. dev wants to believe it, but how? luck is not on her side because there's no compatible donor.


.... and now she's lying on the hospital bed. it's been 2 weeks since jaime told his promise. her heart is full of happiness because finally she gets to see again. the operation last week went well and the doctors just need to wait for the wounds to heal. dev was about to sleep when she remembered jaime. it's been a week since they last talked. a big part of her miss him so much. she admits she lied about not loving him anymore. suddenly, she heared the door open.

" hi miss seron. how are you doing? " the doctor asked.

" i'm good. thank you " she said with a smile on her face.

" well this is the day. we're gonna take the bandage off and we'll examine your eyes if you can see again " the doctor said while taking off the bandage in her eyes. after few minutes, the doctor told her to open her eyes. she was nervous but at the same time happy.

" so? " the doctor asked.

a big smile was plastered on her face. she looked around and saw her friends and the doctor. " i can see again! " she said and can't help the tear up. she hugged all of her friends who was there.

" thank you, doc. " she said and gave her a hug.

" oh don't thank me. " she said while smiling at her. dev flashed her curious expression upon hearing what the doctor said.

" you know you're a one lucky girl " the doctor said and sat beside her.

" your boyfriend is one in a million. " she added.

" you... you mean? " dev said and tears started to flow again... but this time it wasn't tears of joy.

" wh.. where is he right now? i wanna see him " she said

" he's on the other room "

dev didn't waste anytime and ran to the door next to hers.. when she opened it she saw him sleeping. she was already crying that time.

" jaime... " she said and walk to towards him. she saw him move and wake up.

" dev? " he asked.

" yes, it's me " she said and hugged him tightly.

" why did you donated you eyes to me? "

" because, i don't want you to suffer and live in darkness. remember my promise? see, i did it for you." he said and smiled sweetly at her that made her cry again.

" but how about you? you're the one who'll suffer "

" i'll take the risks just to make you happy. and please, don't break up with me. you're my life, dev. " jaime said in a serious tone.

" thank you so much, jaime. and no, i will not break with you anymore. i love you so much that i'll die first before i do that to you. " she said and smiled at him. she took jaime's hands and put it on her cheek.

" i love you " she said in a sweet voice that made jaime smile.

" i love you more, my princess " he replied and pulled her closer to him and gave her a passionate kiss.


3 years later.....

" mommy, are we there yet? " the little girl asked.

" honey, can you wait please? be a little patient " she said and smiled at her daughter.

" but i can't wait to see daddy! i miss him already! "

" jade, you're like your dad. you guys are both impatient "

" oh no. dad is more impatient than me! oh there he is! daddy! " she said after she opened the door.

" hey, baby! miss daddy already? " he sweetly asked

" yes. woah, you can see now?! mommy! look daddy can see again! " she said in an amazed tone. dev can't help not to laugh at her daughter.

" aren't you gonna give your husband a kiss? " jaime asked.

" silly. " she said and kissed him on the lips.

" after 3 years, finally you can see again. good thing i found a donor. i kept my promise too " she added.

" thanks to you. it's nice seeing jade for the first time. she's pretty just like her mom and you're still beautiful as always " jaime sweetly said and kissed her again on the lips.

" hey! how about me? you guys kissed two times already! " jade said with a bit of dissapointment in her face.

" awww, our little angel! come here we'll give you a kiss! " dev said and lift jade up. they both kissed their daughter on the cheeks that made her laugh.

" that tickles! " their daughter said in a high pitch voice and the room was filled with laughter.

Star Magic Ball (oneshot)

" ohemgee, devs! ang ganda mo! ikaw na yan! " sigaw ni joirc ng matapos ng ayusan si devon.

lahat din ng mga tao na nasa loob ng kwarto ay napanganga ng makita si devon.. sino ba namang hindi? mukhang dyosa talaga ang dalaga.

agad namang pinuntahan ni joric ang kabilang kwarto kung nasaan ang surprise escort ni devon.

" are you ready? " tanong ni joric.

" yup! " ngiting sagot ni james.

bumalik sila sa kwarto kung nasaan si devon. nang unang makita ni james ang dalaga ay patago itong tumitingin dito. si patrick naman ay napapansin yun na napapangiti na lang.

naisipan ni james na magpalagay ng konting foundation dahil makikita daw ang kanyang mga pimples pero sa totoo lang ay gusto nya lang talagang maramdaman ang init ng kamay ni devon sa kanyang mukha. agad namang sumang ayon si devon at tinulungan si joric na lagyan ng konting make up si james. ng matapos ay kailangang pabalikin si james sa kabilang kwarto.. kahit ayaw nya.

" your date is pretty! " biglang sambit ni patrick at biglang napatingin sa kanya si james.

" who said she isn't?" sagot naman ng binata.

" you're lucky! " dagdag pa ni patrick.

" i know i am " ngiti nitong sabi at proud na proud pa.

ilang minuto pa ay tinawag sya ulit ni joric.. nang lumabas ay nagulat sya dahil madilim sa labas ng pintuan. pero nawala ang pagkagulat sa kanyang mukha ng makita si devon na nakagown. hindi nya napigilan ang mapangiti upon seeing his date. "she's stunning! " he thought.

                            

si devon naman ay napatingin kay james at ngumiti. " shet, ang pogi ng date ko! akala ko solo akong rarampa sa red carpet mamaya. " sambit nya sa sarili at hindi pa din naalis ang tingin sa binata kahit natatakpan ito ng mga taong nagaayos ng kanyang gown. ng matapos ay agad sinenyasan ng binata si joric. tumango lang ito at niyaya ang laaht na lumabas... susunod na sana si devon ng biglang harangan ni james ang daan.

" you look beautiful tonight " bati ni james na nagpa blush kay devon.

" ngayon lang? " pabirong hirit naman ni devon.

" of course not! you're always beautiful! it's just i was starstruck when i saw you wearing that sexy gown "

 i'm really lucky that you are my date, baby " seryosong sabi ni james na nagpataas sa isang kilay ni devon.

" baby? kung maka baby ka ha... boyfriend kita? " tanong nito. she was surprised when james held her chin and gave her a sweet kiss.

" not yet " bulong nito sa dalaga pagkatapos nya itong halikan.

si devon naman ay shocked pa din sa bilis ng pangyayari. lalong namula ang kanyang pisngi na hindi nakatakas na mga mata ni james. agad nyang hinawakan ang pisngi nito ang ngumiti ng napakatamis.

" you're cute when you blush " tuwang sambit ni james at inalis din ang kamay sa pisngi ni devon.

" let's go my beautiful date, they're already waiting for us outside. let's go " dagdag pa nito at hinawakan ang kamay ng dalaga. wala namang nagawa si devon kungdi sumunod kay james palabas ng kwarto.

One Shot [Jaevon]

" bingi ka ba? sabi ko puntahan mo na yung artista mo! iwanan mo na ako! " sigaw ni maribeth.

" ikaw ang mahal ko! why you giving me away? " sagot naman ni spencer.

" okay.. cut! james, devon mamaya na natin gagawin yung kadugtong ng scene na yan. it's your break right now " sambit ng direktor nila.

pareho lang tumango ang dalawa. si devon naman ay parang gripo ang mata dahil hindi pa din tumitigil ang pag iyak. agad syang tumakbo papunta sa dressing room at nagkulong.. doon sya umiyak. masyado syang nadala sa scene nila ni james. ngayon realization is hitting her.. hindi sya pwedeng mahalin ni james dahil may iba na itong mahal at doon sya lalong napaiyak. mahal nya si james pero di nya pwedeng ipagpilitan ang sarili.gusto nyang makita si james na masaya kahit masakit na hindi sya ang nagpapasaya dito.

ng nag break ay agad pumunta si james sa mga kaibigan at nakipagkwentuhan sandali. pagkatapos nun ay agad nyang hinanap si devon. gusto nya itong kausapin. agad nyang namiss ito kahit ilang minuto lang itong nawala sa kanyang tabi. tinanong nya ang mga kaibigan kung nakita nila ang dalaga pero puro "hindi" ang dagot ng mga ito. bigla naman syang nag alala. papunta na sya ng studio ng may marinig syang tunog sa isang kwarto. ng tingnan nya ito ay nasa tapat pala sya ng dressing room. ng lumapit sya sa pinto ay pinakinggan nya ang tunog at narinig nyang may umiiyak... at alam nyang kung sino iyon.

" devon? " sabi ni james sabay katok sa pinto.

agad namang napatigil si devon sa pagiyak ng marinig nya ang katok ng pinto at ang boses ni james.. hindi naman sya tumayo at tiningnan lang ang pintuan.

" devon. open the door please! what's wrong? why are you crying? "

" wala. nagpapa practice lang " pagsisinungaling nito.

" then open the door.. you said it's only a practice. please devon? " pagmamakaawa ni james. wala namang nagawa si devon at agad binuksan ang pinto. ng makita ni james si devon ay nabigla ito dahil mapulang mapula ang mata.

" wh.. what happened? " putol putol na tanong ni james.

" wala " tanging naisagot lang ni devon. agad naman syang niyakap ng binata kaya naman naiyak syang muli.

" devon tell me the real reason why you're crying. " sambit ni james at diniin ang salitang " real "

" gusto mong malaman? ha? " tanong ni devon na bahagyang tumaas ang tono ng pananalita.

" yes! "

" kasi... mahal kita! na carried away ako dun sa scene natin kanina dahil naiimagine ko tayong dalawa sa ganung sitwasyon pero imposible eh. may ericka ka na! " mahabang lintaya ni devon. si james naman ay napatawa sa inakto ng dalaga. agad nya itong nilapitan at pinahid ang mga luha.

" me and ericka are just friends! what are you talking about? and she knows that i love somebody else. " seryosong sagot ni james habang hawak hawak ang magkabilang pisngi ni devon. si devon naman ay ayaw tumingin sa kanya.. ngayon iisa lang ang nasa isipan nya.. " sino kaya ang maswerteng babae na nakapag patibok ng puso ng binata? ". realization hit her again.. agad nyang tinanggal ang kamay ni james at lumakad palayo sa kanya.. pero bago pa man tuluyang lumabas ng dressing room si devon ay nagsalitang muli si james.

" it's you devon. " sabi ni james. si devon naman ay napakunot ng noo at sabay lingon kay james.

" ano? "

" you're the one that i love, devon " nakangiting sambit ni james at lumakad papunta kung nasaan nakatayo si devon.

" since you love me too.. payag ka na bang maging boyfriend mo ako? "

" mapilit ka eh... sige na nga. " birong sabi ni devon.

" really?! "

tumango lang si devon at bigla syang niyakap ni james ng mahigpit.

" we better tell the others about this " masayang sabi ni james. tumango lang si devon at sumama sa binata.

nasa may basketball court lang ang mga kaibigan nila... ganun na lang ang pagkagulat nila ng makita si james at devon na magkahawak kamay habang palapit sa kanila.

" teka, bes. anong meron? " di makapaniwalang tanong ni quen.

" i have a good news. " sambit naman ni james.

" ano naman yun? pinapakaba mo kami, james " singit naman ni yen sa usapan.

" devon is my girlfriend " proud nitong sabi at inakbayan ang dalaga. si devon naman ay napangiti lang. di naman napigilan ng mga kaibigan nila ang kiligin at maghiyawan sa balitang narinig.

" oh paano ba yan? tara nang kumain! libre ng jaevon since sila na! " sabi naman ni chikara.

sabay sabay namang nagsabi ng " kainan na! " ang mga kaibigan nila at wala na silang magawa kung hindi ang ilibre ang mga ito.

habang naglalakad papunta sa restaurant ay sadyang nagpapahuli sa lakad ang dalawa at tila may sariling mundo.

" you know what? " tanong ni james.

" what? " curious ding tanong ni devon sa binata.

" i love you " sagot ni james at ngumiti ng napakatamis. si devon naman ay nag blush sa narinig.

" i love you too " sagot din nya. nagulat sya ng biglang nakawan sya ng halik ni james sa labi, kaya naman pinalo nya ito.

" ikaw ha! " naiinis pero kinilig na sabi ni devon. si james naman ay ngumiti lang ng nakakaloko sa kanyang girlfriend.

" oy, bilisan nyo naman sa paglalakad! gutom na kami! " sigaw ni arron.

tumawa lang ang dalawa at pumasok sa loob ng restaurant.. na magkahawak kamay. =)

One shot: Regret (part 1)

nakatingin pa rin sa kawalan si Mariel. tulala ito simula pa kahapon. sa tuwing naalala nya ang nangyari ay kahapon ay hindi nya mapigilan ang kanyang sarili na mapaiyak. nagi guilty sya dahil alam nya na sya ang dahilan kung bakit nangyari iyon. napabalik sya sa huwisyo ng nilapitan sya ng kanyang kapatid na si Maya.

" ate, kumain ka muna. kahapon ka pa tulala pati kami nina mama nag aalala na sa'yo.  " sambit ni maya na bakas ang pag aalala para sa kapatid. para namang bingi naman ang dalaga na hindi man lang sumagot.

" ate.... " sabi nya ulit at biglang nagulat ng yakapin sya ng kapatid at humagulhol ng iyak. di nya na din napigilan ang sarili na mapaiyak.

" maya, ako ang may kakagawan ng lahat.. kung hindi lang ako nagpaloko sa.. sana buhay pa si daniel. " putol putol na sabi ni Mariel.

" ate, wag mong sabihin yan alam naman natin kung sino ang may kagagawan nito at hindi ikaw yun. tahan na. " pagpapatahan naman ni maya. agad naman kumalas sa yakap si mariel at ngumiti sa kanya (di ko alam ang tagalog sa weakly smiled so "ngumiti" na lng inilagay ko. lol)

" salamat maya ha. kahit papaano gumaan ang pakiramdam ko. tara na nga sa baba. " sagot nya at inaya ang kapatid na bumaba para kumain.

pagkatapos nyang kumain ay nagkulong ulit sya sa loob ng kanyang kwarto. agad syang umupo sa upuan na malapit sa kanyang bintana. na baling ang atensyon nya ng makita ang scapular bracelet na nasa side table ng kanyang kama. agad nya itong kinuha at tinitigan... mabilis na naman nyang naalala ang mga pangyayari kahapon.

FLASHBACK....

hindi pa rin sya makapaniwala sa nangyayari. nakita nya si daniel na nakaupo sa upuan.. na nakatali ang mga kamay at paa. lalo syang nabigla ng makita nyang nakatayo sa may pintuan ang kaibigan nyang si sam na may hawak na baril.

" sam! what's the meaning of this? " takot na tanong ni mariel

" oh! gising ka na pala. alam mo matagal ko ng plano 'to.. at ngayon ang perfect timing! "

" sam! hindi kita maintindihan! ano ba ang gusto mo?! at.. ba.. bakit nandito si daniel?!?! "

" ikaw! ikaw ang gusto ko! Mariel! di mo ba nararamdaman? matagal na kitang mahal! at ngayon gusto kong mamili ka sa aming dalawa ng lalaking 'to! " agad lumapit si sam at sinabunutan si daniel.

" f**k you, sam! " sambit naman ni daniel. dahil sa galit na nararamdamn ni sam ay sinuntok nya si daniel. hindi naman maawat ni mariel ang binata dahil nakatali din ang kanyang paa at kamay.

" sam tama na, please! hindi ka naman ganyan dati ah? "

" oo hindi ako ganito dati. pero nung narealize ko na mahal kita nagka ganito na ako. ang masakit pa mas nauna mo akong nakilala kesa sa gagong 'to pero sya pa rin ang minahal mo! unfair ka alam mo ba yun?! " galit na wika ni sam na hindi nararamdaman ang pag agos ng mga luha.

" hindi ako unfair. hindi ko naman mapigilan ang sarili ang hindi umibig kay daniel "

" nung iniwan ka ng gagong 'to, sino ang nasa tabihan mo? sino dumadamay sayo tuwing umiiyak ka? sino ang nagpapangiti sa'yo tuwing malungkot ka? di ba ako? bakit di mo man lang masuklian ng pagmamahal ang lahat ng sakripisyong ginawa ko para sa'yo? "

" mariel! i said let's go! " galit na sambit ni sam at hinigpitan ang paghawak sa braso nito. agad namang tumayo si mariel sa pagkakaupo at sumama kay sam.

" mariel! mariel! please don't leave me! mariel! i love you so much! mariel! " sigaw ni daniel. kahit gusto nyang sundan ang dalaga ay di nya magawa dahil nakatali sya.

si mariel naman ay di na mapigil ang mga luha na kanina pa ayaw matapos sa pagtulo. bago pa malakabas ng gusaling iyon ay napansin nya na masyadong mabilis maglakad si sam... lalo nyang ikinabahala ng may narinig
syang tunog... at pamilyar sa kanya ang tunog na iyon. agad syang nagpanik at sinubukang alisin ang kamay ni sam sa braso nya.

" sam! ano ba yung tunog na yun? at bakit ang bilis mong maglakad?! " tanong nya pero hindi man lang sumasagot ang binata.

" sam! ano ka ba? pwedeng bagalan mong maglakad? parang kang nagmamadali! "

" kailangan na nating bilisan! " sagot nito na lalong ikinakaba.

" a.. anong ibig mong sabihin?! answer me! " sambit nito na puno na ng kaba ang dibdib.

ng makalabas sila ay agad silang tumakbo. at biglang may sumabog. ng tumingin sa likod si mariel ay nakita nyang nasusunog na ang gusali. halos gumuho ang kanyang mundo sa nakikita nya.

" DDDDAAAANNNNIIIIEEEEELLLL! " sigaw nya at napaluhod. namamanhid ang buong katawan nya. masyadong mabilis ang pangyayari at di na nya kinaya kaya mabilis syang nawalan ng malay.

nagpanik si sam kaya naman agad nyang binuhat ang dalaga at naglakad.. di nya alam na may mga pulis na sa paligid. bigla naman syang nagulat ng tumakbo papunta sa kanyang direksyon ang kanyang bestfriend na si
quen.

" hayop ka sam! anong ginawa mo?! " galit na tanong ni quen at kinuha ang walang malay na si mariel.

" i... i.... --- " di na nya natapos ang sinabi ng posasan na sya ng mga pulis.

" walang hiya ka! " sigaw ulit ni quen habang inilayo si mariel at dinala sa ambulansya.

" gago ka, quen! akala ko ba kaibigan kita?! traydor ka! traydor! " sigaw naman ni sam habang ipinapasok sya sa loob ng sasakyan ng pulis.

" sorry sam pero maling mali ang ginawa mo.. at ginawa ko lang ang tama. " pabulong nitong sagot.

nagising na lang si mariel sa kanyang kwarto. nakita naman nya ang kanyang magulang, si Maya at bestfriend nya (also sam's bestfriend) na si quen.

" ate gusto mo bang kumain? "

" hindi. hindi ako nagugutom. " sagot ng dalaga.

" bes, nanaginip lang ba ako? " kaba nitong tanong sa kanyang bestfriend.

" umm.. maiwan muna namin kayo.. " biglang singit naman ng papa ni mariel. tumango lang ang dalaga at agad namang umalis ang magulang nito at ang kapatid.

" nawalan ka ng malay, bes. na trauma ka ata sa nakita mo kanina. "

" so totoo pala yung nangyari... " sagot ng dalaga at di na naman napigilan ang mga luha.

" wala na ba talaga si daniel? "

" di pa namin alam, bes. nag se search na sila dun sa building na yun. "

" basta. kuhanin mo nga yung panggamot sa sugat! bilis! " utos nito na agad sinunod ni maya. ng makabalik io ay dala dala nito ang first aid kit at iniabot ni quen. si mariel na naman ay tulala lang habang ginagamot ni quen ang sugat sa kamay nito.

" mariel, wag mong saktan ang sarili mo, pwede ba? ilang beses ko na bang sasabihin sa'yo na hindi ikaw ang may dahilan ng lahat. " seryoso nitong sabi.

" di ko pa rin matanggap eh. kung ikaw ang nasa kalagayan ko ngayon.. masasaktan ka din. " sagot naman ng dalaga.

" alam ko naman ang nararamdaman mo ngayon eh.. pero sobra mo nang pinapahirapan ang sarili mo. saktan ang sarili mo? really? that will not help anything, mariel. "

hindi na lang ulit nagsalita si mariel hanggang sa matapos nang gamutin ni quen ang kanyang sugat.

hapon na ng umalis si quen. gusto man nitong bantayan ang kaibigan ay hindi pwede dahil meron pa itong gagawin. nagkulong lang si mariel sa loob ng kwarto nya sa buong araw. malaki ang pinagbago nito dahil sa pagiging hyper at bubbly nito dati ay ngayon masyado nang tahimik.

gusto mang pigilan ni mariel ang pag agos ng kanyang mga luha ay di nya magawa. agad nyang binitawan ang scapular bracelet at ibinalik sa mesa. kinuha naman nya ang iphone 4 na katabi lang ng bracelet. pagkabukas nya ay bumungad agad ang picture nilang dalawa ni daniel. di pa pala nya napapalitan ang screensaver at lockscreen nya.. napangiti sya ng konti ng maalala ang masasayang araw nila ng binata noon.

" sana buhay ka pa, daniel. sana nakinig na lang ako sa'yo. " sambit nya habang tinintingnan pa rin ang picture. bigla nya naman itong hinalikan at ibinaba sa mesa.

bago matulog ay nag dasal muna na sya at pinapanalangin nya na sana buhay pa ang lalaki na itinitibok ng kanyang puso.

" hahaha! nice one bro! just surprised that you can make her say yes to a date. " marc said and laughingly tapped spencer's shoulders.

" i know right! " spencer said and they both focused on the game that they're playing.

because it was after lunch when maribeth went to the market, she got home nearly evening cause she bought lots of things. when she came home she saw saicy sitting in the couch and was obviously waiting for her.

" oh saicy! ang aga mo ata? alas singko lang oh! mamaya pang alas otso yung lakad ko " maribeth said

" oy betchay! kailangan mong maging maganda! para lalong mabighani si spencer sa'yo! boto ata ako sa kanya para sa'yo no! "

" ahh! kaya pala kung makatanong ka kahapon tungkol kay spencer kulang nalang isigaw mo sa pagmumukha ni gab ang pangalan ngpayatot na yun! "

" uy, over ka naman! sya nga pala! dala ko ang aking make up kit! nasaan ang isusuot mo? "

" mag papatanlon at t shirt na lang siguro ako " maribeth said while putting the foods that she bought on the table.

saicy can't help not to say " ano?! " and stood up.

" baliw ka ba?! kailangan naka dress ka! anong pantalon at t shirt ang pinagsasabi mo dyan? aattend ka ba ng birthday? friend! wag mong kalimutan date ang pupuntahan mo! date betchay! date! "

" oo na! date pupuntahan ko! di mo naman kailangan ulit ulitin yun eh. ang problema wala akong dress at sapatos! "

" ay walang problema! sabi ko na nga ba eh! tama lang pala na dalhin ko ang dress at sapatos ko. tyamba ka 'te! dahil magka size tayo, papahiramin kita!"

" salamat ha!  "

" ikaw pa! " saicy said and hugged maribeth.

" oh anong meron dito? " tatay mel asked when he saw the two girls hugging each other.

" ahh, wala po tay. "

" may pupuntahan ka ba, anak? "

" tay, di ba sinabi ko na po sa inyo? "

" ay, oo nga pala. akala ko yung kasama mo mamaya yung si gab weys. "

" tay, weiss po. at tsaka si spencer po yung kasama ko "

" oh sya sige. mag iingat ka ha! aalis na ako " tatay mel replied.

when her father left, saicy asked her again.

" oh ready ka na ba sa make over mo betchay? " saicy asked excitingly.

maribeth smiled and nodded at saicy while she (saicy) was so excited to give maribeth a make over.
after almost an hour she finished doing some finishing touches on her face. when saicy looked at her again, she can't believe her friend can be this beautiful.

" taray mo 'te! ganda mo! oh isuot mo na ang dress at sapatos! excited na ako!! " saicy said

" atat ka naman masyado! sige na! nasaan na ba yung damit at sapatos na yun? ng matigil ka na sa katitili mo dyan! " maribeth asked. when she went inside her room to changed, she looked at herself in the mirror. she can't believe what she was seeing. she looks different with make up on. well, because she don't usually wear make up on a daily basis. she then started to put the dress on and after that she put her shoes.

saicy who was waiting on the living room can't really wait to see her friend. for her, one' thing's for sure... spencer's gonna jaw drop! she then suddenly heared a door opening and when she looked at maribeth's bedroom door, there she saw her.

" potcha, betchay! nakakatibo ka! " saicy said.

" loka ka na talaga! "

" aba! totoo kaya! nakita mo na ba ang sarili mo sa salamin? oh eto oh! " she said and pulled maribeth towards the mirror.

" oh naniniwala ka na? " saicy added.

" asus naman! " maribeth said.

it was already 10 more minutes 'til 8pm, spencer was already ready for their date. he really can't wait what maribeth looks like right now.

" i bet she's like a goddess right now! " spencer said to himself. he can't stop smiling just imagining how lovely she can be.

his yaya knocked on the door and told him to be quiet because his tita could hear him talking to himself.

" yes po. tell tita i'm sorry. " spencer said and gave puppy eyes to his yaya.

" sige sasabihin ko na. papacute ka pa dyan " she said and closed the door again.

spencer rolled his eyes and said " tita is sucha killjoy ". after making himself more pogi, he went downstairs and headed to his car. before he picks up maribeth, he made sure that he brought flowers for her.

" well this is your night, spencer! " he said and drove away.

after exchanging goodbyes, saicy went near the door when she said one more thing.

" naku!! kwento mo bukas ang mangyayari mamaya ha! wag selfish!! sige babush na friend! papagalitan pa ako ng aking tatay kapag hindi pa ako umuwi! sige na ha! " saicy said. at the same time spencer was about to knock on the door when saicy opened it.

" hi saicy " spencer greeted.

" betchay! prince charming mo nandito na! " she shouted and looked at spencer again " and you! make sure mag eenjoy si betchay sa date nyo ha! sige mauna na ako! bye! " she said. spencer just waved at her before she left.

" oh spencer nandito ka na pala " maribeth said with a smile on her face.

spencer can't believe it. he knew he's going to be surprised on what's maribeth going to look like. but this was beyond his expectations.

" damn, she's gorgeous! " he said to himself. he went back to reality, when he heared maribeth snapping her finger.

" huy! " she said

" oh. sorry! oh yeah, flowers for you! it's not sampaguita anymore " he laughed and gave the flowers.

" hahaha pansin ko nga.. salamat! ano tara na? "

" let's go! "

they went to this garden. well it's not an ordinary garden. there's a mini swamp with a mini bridge and not that far is a table full of food. maribeth can't take her eyes off the lights that were hanging on the trees. she was mesmerized by the garden's beauty.

" ganda naman dito " she said.

spencer was just staring at maribeth who was still looking around the garden.

" you like it here? " he asked.

" of course, i do " she said and looked at spencer.

they looked at each other for awhile when spencer remembered something.

" be right back! i need to get something! " he said and ran out of the garden.

maribeth was confused and just waited. she went near the mini swamp and sat on the mini bridge. she was entertained by just looking at the fishes swimming when she heared his voice again.

" maribeth "

" bakit? "

" let's go eat " he said and offered his hand just to make sure she won't fall when she get off the bridge.

maribeth held it and said " thank you "

when they went to the table maribeth almost jaw drop when she saw the foods.

" oh my god! favorites ko lahat to ahh. paano mo nalaman? " she asked and was still looking at the foods

" i have my sources, maribeth " he said and gave his boyish smile.

he pulled the chair for her before he sat on the other side of the table. when they started eating spencer can't help not to glare at maribeth. on the other side, maribeth was just busy eating her food and not minding him glaring at her.

she was standing on the mini bridge again. they were already done eating. she was looking at the fishes swimming on the mini swamp when she noticed something sparkling on the water. she eventually called spencer to asked what it was.

" spencer! spencer! halika dito! " she shouted.

" what is it? " spencer asked.

" ano yun? yung kumikislap dun sa tubig? " she asked again while pointing at the water.

" ohh.. those! the caretakers here call this swamp as the " magic/wishing swamp " they said  if you throw a coin on the water there's a possibility that your wish will come true! wanna try? "

maribeth flashed her sweet smile to spencer and said " oo! ". both of them were already holding a coin. they both looked at each other and said " ikaw muna! "

" you know, i'm a gentleman! you go first "

" hindi ikaw dapat! ladies first! " maribeth said and laughed and slapped spencer lightly

" you're funny. let's do it at the same time na lang! "

maribeth agreed. both of them closed their eyes and think of a good wish. spencer was already done thinking his wish. he opened his left eye and looked at maribeth. she was still closing her eyes. she felt uneasiness so she opened her eyes and looked at spencer who was closing his eyes.

" that was close! " spencer told himself. finally he opened his eyes and counted 1 to 3 before throwing the coin. after that, they both laughed.

" sana magkatotoo yung wish natin " maribeth said

" i wish! " spencer said agreeing to what maribeth said.

spencer's face became serious again. she noticed that he was like finding something on his pocket. spencer took maribeth's hand and put the silver bracelet with heart pendants on her wrist.

" thanks for making my day " he said after putting the bracelet on her wrist.

maribeth who was still surprised smiled at him. spencer took her other hand and held it at the same time, he looked at her.

" maribeth, i... i just want to say that you made me the happiest man in the world. i know it's corny but it's true. and i'm also sorry for being makulit yesterday at the hospital... you know i'm only like that when you're around right? anyways, i want you to know that i... i.... i love you. it's okay to me that you will not answer it for now cause i know there's another guy who is courting you also. i'm just telling you what i really feel about you. " he said looking to her eyes. maribeth was touched by what he said. she know he really meant all he said because she could see the sincerety in his eyes.

maribeth held his face and looked at him. she smiled and that made him smile also.

" thank you din kasi kahit masungit ako mabait ka pa rin sa akin " she said. she didn't noticed that spencer's hand were already on her waist. as he moved closer and closer, maribeth felt like she's going to fall so she put her hands around his neck.

finally, their lips met. it was maribeth's first kiss. maribeth thought that she was dreaming and when she opened her eyes, she saw him kissing her lips. she want to take her lips away from him but she can't. it's like their lips are glued together. spencer smiled when he took his lips way from her and she can't help not to blush. spencer held her chin so he could look at her eyes directly. seems like there's magnet attracting both of them to be closer at each other again and there, he claimed her lips again. it was the sweetest moment indeed.

devon looked through her twitter and as usual she saw lots of hate comments about her. no matter how many times she ignores it, she always see them or worse she could even hear other people talking about her.

" why do they have to say such things? " she said not minding the tears that were flowing on her cheeks.

one of her friends on GV, Yen saw her crying while looking at her cellphone.

" devs, why are you crying? let me guess... haters again? " she asked. yen could see that her friend is really hurt by the people who kept on bashing her.

" just ignore those bastards. they have nothing good to do that's why. hush now. you want me to call your boyfriend? " she added. yen stood up and about to call devon's boyfriend, james.

" no. please yen don't tell him about this. " she said while holding yen's hand.

" why not? devon! he should know! he's your boyfriend! " she said and sat down beside devon.

" no please... just no. " devon said and tears from her eyes started to flow again.

james on the other side, who was listening to the two of them all the time. bashing his girlfriend makes him very furious but he always keep things cool..... he walked where devon and yen was. he told that they're gonna talk privately for awhile and yen agreed. devon looked at james and she saw his worried face.

" baby, are you okay? " james asked while wiping devon's tears. devon didn't answer which james thought it was a " no "

" don't listen to what others say. i'm always here to protect you, baby. "

" but the problem is.. most of the people who bashes me are you fans! " she said

" i know. but i can't stop them from doing that. "

devon looked away while james was cupping her face and trying to make her look at him.

" you know what? i should really get those whitening products that some doctors offers me. that will maybe stop your fans from bashing me! "

what devon said made james upset.

" don't you dare, devon! your skin color is perfect! just ignore those damn haters! "

" you don't even know how it feels to be hated by many people! " she said and walked out.

james tried to chase her but he can't find her anywhere. he saw ivan walking down the hall so he asked him if he saw devon.

" ivan! you saw devon? " he asked.

" no. why? what happened? "

" long story! i'll tell you next time! " he said and ran.

ivan was left there and was still confused on what's happening.

3 days passed since they argued. devon never texted him and it made him very worried.

" i think she's at home. " he said to himself.

he drove to her house. he already knocked the door several times but no one was answering.

devon kept on hearing knocks on their door and when she looked at the window in her room, she saw james holding flowers and chocolates. she decided not to open the door because she's not ready to talk to him again..

james was outside for few minutes now so he decided to put the flowers and chocolates infront of her door and left.

it was evening when devon woke up. she realized that she fell asleep. she went downstairs to cook some food to eat, when she remembered the flowers and chocolates that james left for her. she ran to the door and opened it, and there she saw it. she also saw a card that says sorry. she smiled and took the red roses and her favorite chocolates, ferrero rocher.

meanwhile, james was watching t.v. when he remembered the flowers and chocolates.

" i wonder if she saw it.. " he said and let out a big sigh.

DING! DONG! james heard the doorbell rang. he was kinda lazy to get up that time.

" who is it? it's so late already! " he said while walking to the door.

when he opened it he saw devon smiling at him.

" devon " he said and gave her a power hug

devon hugged back. gosh, how she missed this guy. she know that she can't live a week not seeing him. james was so happy upon seeing his devon again. yup, HIS DEVON.

" sorry, baby " james said. devon nodded and smiled at him again.

they went inside and decided to watch a movie. just like a real couple do, they were cuddling each other while watching the movie. james wasn't really paying attention because he was busy staring at devon. devon noticed it and looked at him.

" what? what's the matter? " she asked and rolled her eyes.

" i'm sorry on what i did 3 days ago.. " he said.

devon saw  that james really mean those words.

" it's okay " she said.

" no really. i'm so--- " james said and was cut off because devon kissed him.

" shut up " she sweetly said after she gave him a kiss. james who was shocked. smiled at her and gave her the sweetest kiss.

" aba devon hindi mo ba bubuksan yang regalo na yan? tititigan mo na lang? " tanong ni Fretzie sa kaibigan

napabalik si devon sa huwisyo ng tanungin sya ni fretzie. halos limang minuto na nyang tinitingnan ang regalo na dineliver ng mail man kanina lang. hindi nya alam kung kanino galing ito.

" devon! " tawag muli ni fretzie kay devon.

" ha? " sabi naman nito na halatang nabigla.

" sabi ko buksan mo na! bili! "

pagkabukas nya ay nakita nya ang isang cute at maliit na blue stuff toy. napangiti sya dahil ito yung gustong gusto nyang bilhin na stuff toy na nakita nya sa isang toy store sa mall. naalala nya na isang tao lang ang kasama nya noon nung nakita nya ito.

" oh my gosh! parang alam ko na kung sino ang nagbigay nito! " sambit ng dalaga.

" sino? sino? " excited na tanong ni fretzie sa kitang kita sa mukha ang pagkakilig.

" eh kasi ito yung gusto kong bilhin dun sa toy store dati. si james lang ang sinabihan ko na favorite ko yun. "

lalo namang napangiti ang kanyang bestfrend sa kanyang sinabi.

" so si james pala ang sender ha. hmmm.. nagpaparamdam na! na fe feel mo ba yun? "

" na fe feel ang alin? "

" na liligawan ka na nya! ayieee! "

akmang ihahampas ni devon ang stuff toy na niregalo ni james sa kanya ng may marinig sila.

" ano yun? " gulat na tanong ni devon

" omg! ang cute talaga ng stuff toy na yan! kumakanta! boses yun ni james di ba? bongga personalized pa ata ang stuff toy na itey! "

pinindot uli ni devon ang stuff toy sa bandang tiyan nito at narinig nya uli ang magandang boses ni james. para naman syang hinarana ng binata sa pamamagitan ng stuff toy.

tuwang tuwa silang dalawa at inulit ulit ang pagpindot sa stuff toy ng biglang may tumawag. nakita ni devon na nag ri ring ang kanyang cellphone at ng makita ang tumatawag ay agad nya itong sinagot.

" hello? " sabi ng dalaga.

" hi devon. do you like my gift? " tuwang tanong ng binata na nasa kabilang linya.

" james? "

" yup this is james. so do you like it? "

" of course, i do! cute kaya! ikaw ha kumakanta pa yung stuff toy mo. hahaha. "

" hahaha. well, i want you to listen to it everyday. "

" i will. " sabi ni devon at tumawa

" you know that stuff toy have a name? "

she was left in the sidewalk crying. she felt used. she never thought that this will ever happen to her. she decided to take a cab so she could go home. her mind is tired and her heart is broken into pieces.. again.

he was sitting on the bench when she saw D crying. he want to ignore her but something is stopping him from doing that. he asked D what's wrong but she didn't answer. all he could hear is her..crying. he was about to hold her hands when she stood up and walked away. he ran towards her and hugged her from the back.

J: what's wrong?

D: nothing don't mind me.

J: i'm sorry for what i did earlier. i didnt mean to hurt you at all.

D: but it's too late. too late...

after he heared what she said, she immidiately took his hands of her waist and continously to walk away from him until he can no longer see her figure.

he woke up and he felt sadness. he dreamt about D. he still remember then he saw that someone's calling on the phone.

Voice: Hello J?

J: yes? who's this?

D's mom: this is D's mom.

J: tita, why did you call? what's the matter?

D's mom: i need someone to come with me.. to the hospital. *controlling the tears*

J: i'll come with you po.

D's mom: sige kita na lang tayo dun ha.

J: opo sige po.

he felt that something' going on. he wants to find it out but he can't. he went inside his car and drove to the hospital. when he entered the main entrace he saw D's mother and relatives crying.. even her friends.

J: tita what's going on here?

D's mom: J, D is dead. *broke down and cry*

he froze where he was standing. how? why? they just had an arguement few hours ago and now dead? he can't believe it.it's like his heart was squeezed.

J: ho.. how did that happened?

D's mom: they said that she got into a car accident.

then they saw the doctor that examined D.

D's mom: doc, what's the real caus eof my daughter's death?

Doctor: well the taxi driver said that D sat in the front and when the accident happened the air bag didn't work so the glass from the window went to her.

D's mom can't stop crying when J saw D's mom, it made him cry too. he never knew that things will come this end.

whatever he do, he thinks of her. he can't help not to cry. guilt and pain were the feelings that  he was feeling at that moment. is it why she said too late in my dream? he went back to his house to get some stuffs. he saw a picture album of her and him. everytime he flipped the pages, his tears were freely flowing from his cheeks.

few days later... D's last wake....

for the past few days, it's been very depressing and devasting for J , D's Family and friend.  J tried to stay strong for D's family.

he was standing in front of D's coffin. he was looking at her. " she looks like she's only sleeping" he thought. " but she will be sleeping forever" he added and his tears started to flow again. he bent down a little bit and kissed the glass of D's coffin.

" I regret the day that i said i don't love you..."  he whispered
